Well the season-opening match is out of the way and we are only hours away from another big night at the John Walker Soccer Complex. The crowd of 1,215 for the home opener against Rice was phenomenal.
The Red Raiders used a goal by Tiffini Smith and some stellar goalkeeping from Victoria Esson to shutout Rice, 1-0, on Friday night. It was the fourth-straight season Tech has shutout its season opening opponent.
Be sure to come out tonight for the match with New Mexico State. Tech freshmen will get in free with an I.D. and it should be another exciting night of soccer.
